Overview

ComeBuyTEA Seattle, located in the vibrant heart of Capitol Hill at 824 E Pike St, offers a refreshing haven for bubble tea enthusiasts and curious newcomers alike. This bubble tea store stands out by blending traditional Asian tea culture with innovative flavors crafted to engage and delight.

The menu showcases a diverse range of teas, each with a distinct character. The Fruit Tea selection features refreshing options such as Roasted Oolong and Jasmine Green Tea, delivering a light yet flavorful experience, while the Ceylon Black Tea and Chai Tea bring a deeper, spiced richness rooted in tradition. The Chai Tea Latte Bubble stands as a particular highlight, expertly blended from black tea base and infused with an aromatic mix of bamboo ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and black pepper, creating an inviting cup that evokes the essence of Indian spices.

Classic Top 8 drinks offer a balance of sweetness and texture, like the Osmanthus Oolong Tea paired with brown sugar konjac jelly, a delightful combination of floral notes and chewy indulgence. The Mango Smoothie with pomegranate popping boba is bursting with tropical freshness, though it’s worth noting this smoothie contains dairy and may not suit those with lactose sensitivity.

For health-conscious visitors, the Yogurt series is a standout. Blending lychee, grapefruit, or passionfruit kefir with konjac jelly and basil seeds, these drinks provide a probiotic-rich, refreshing alternative that is both tangy and smooth. Really enjoyed my bubble tea here! I got the sun moon lake black tea. The pearls were fresh and perfectly chewy, and the drinks were well balanced and flavorful. The shop itself has a really cool vibe and is a great place to hang out. Definitely a spot I’d come back to.

A pretty cool boba tea shop located in Capitol Hill area. We stopped by to pick up a couple of drinks. I had the lychee oolong tea with aloe Vera and Basil seeds. It was very refreshing and thirst quenching. The place was pretty busy in the afternoon, but service was pretty quick. I would come here again.

I ended up going here because this was the place that sold Hong Kong-style milk tea. Although it’s not an authentic HK style, the tea and atmosphere of the place are really memorable and left an impression compared to other places. Moreover, the location is easy to spot as well. I like that it had things to eat, as well as a variety of drinks such as chai, Osmanthus, fruit teas, and other types of rare tea that tea fans would know, like Longjing tea or Sun Moon Lake Black tea. As for the drinks, I got a Strawberry Fruit Tea and the Hong Kong Milk Tea. The strawberry tea felt fresh. Despite coming from a machine, it felt freshly made rather than stale, with some nice hints of tea notes. The Hong Kong style was interesting and a must-try if someone wants a unique taste. It tastes like milk tea but with a little stronger black tea feel. The milk topping (or "creamccino," which was written on the menu) tasted heavenly (I still crave it...) The boba were also good, as they weren’t sticky, rather chewy and squishy. Just perfect. What I’m a little sad about is that I wish there were more locations for this tea place. If it were, I would definitely love to visit it whenever I can. The other issue I have is the limited amount of customization. Some teas can’t go to 0% sugar (only 30%). I also wanted to try removing the boba in the HK style, but wasn't able to (through the machine). Perhaps it would be better to order in person rather than through the online interface system. Overall, my first impression of this place is really good. I hope it expands more, since I don’t want to miss out on their special deals.

There are very few bubble tea shops that actually use freshly brewed tea and COMEBUYTEA is one of them. They use giant Teaspresso machines and brew it right in front of you which is neat. If you want authentic taste with actual tea flavor, check out this chain which originated in Taiwan. It’s one of my favorite tea spots and reminds me of my time there.

But the atmosphere, I wish I can give it a six star I could. It’s so nice with plenty of seating. Very clean bathroom for customers to use The waffles are very delicious, I highly recommend the strawberry and the mango. I got 5 drinks and they were all delicious. The Comebuy milk tea was outstanding with its toppings. Note on the brown sugar boba fresh milk, it’s really sweet and I regret getting the 100% sweetness
